Nanoscience is characterised by a high degree of interdisciplinarity, where concepts and tools from physics are also applicable in chemistry and biology. Understanding nanoscale phenomena requires cross-disciplinary knowledge, and this programme provides you with the opportunity to explore these intersections. The programme is offered by LTH, Lunds Tekniska Högskola (The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University). It is a part of NanoLund, one of the world’s leading nanoscience research centres, located close to the Lund University campuses. From the very first semester, you will engage with cutting-edge research, working alongside leading scientists in the field. Through a broad selection of courses, you will gain both theoretical foundations and practical experience, allowing you to tailor your studies to match your academic background and career ambitions. Beyond nanophysics, you can choose to specialise in nanoelectronics, materials science, or biophysics. The flexibility of the programme ensures that you can design an individual study profile based on your interests and goals.
