Biological Sciences BSc (Single Honours)

This programme combines scientific knowledge with practical experience and real-world insight, equipping you with the confidence and expertise to make an impact in diverse careers across healthcare, biotechnology, conservation and research. You’ll gain a strong foundation in essential laboratory and field techniques, including molecular methods such as PCR and spectrophotometry, microscopy and cellular analysis. In the field, you’ll carry out ecological surveys and environmental monitoring, developing core research skills in experimental design, data interpretation and the use of statistical and computational tools.
