This programme focuses on the design of integrated circuits and System-on-Chip in advanced semiconductor technologies, and provides application-specific knowledge needed for the future. Admission requirements Modern society depends on reliable and efficient electronics supporting a wide range of application areas such as broadband communications, high-speed computing, healthcare, automotive systems, artificial intelligence (AI), the internet of things (IoT), and more. This means that the demand for engineers with the knowledge required to lead the design of complex integrated circuits and systems will remain high for the foreseeable future. The programme courses benefit from close research collaboration with many companies worldwide. The program provides you with a competitive education in digital, analog and radio-frequency (RF) integrated circuits (IC) and system-on-chip (SoC) design, with applications in signal processing, machine learning, modern communication systems and radio transceiver design. The first semester consists of a set of compulsory courses providing the necessary knowledge in digital and analog integrated circuits, computer architecture, RF electronics and design of digital systems.
